Spotlight on "Light up the Sky"!

The last one of this little Spotlight series! Today we're going to watch the sky again like we did with New Years Eve! You did take pictures of it did you?! I know I did! (It's not every day you get to spent New Years Eve in Disneyland Paris!) But this kit isn't only good for firework Lay outs! Let's take a look at the kit:

And this is the 2 pager I made with it:

I also used the Sparkle and Shine add on in my Lay out, and that one's available in the store! But to make it more fun, it's available in a bundle with the kit too!

If you hop to this blog post, you'll find a freebie with Light up the Sky and links to the other blogs ot the CT team with even more freebies.
And if you are a mousescrapper, don't hesitate on joining the weekly challenge I'm hosting! The PP you'll get fits this kit so good! You'll still have time till the 10th of January for turning in you LO. Read everything about it here.

Spotlight on "A Christmas Carol"!

A new day, a new Spotlight! If you're wondering why I'm doing these Spotlight series, it's just because I was away with the opening of Patty's store. Otherwise you would have had these spotlight series then.

Today I'll take you back in the Christmas Spirit. (which is kind of hard to do with temperatures here in Belgium of 12°C and more! Way to hot for the time of the year!) But anyway, I'm going to try. Christmas is a good moment to sit down with the whole family and take some family pictures with the Christmas tree. Or just spend some time together. Now that Christmas is past us, you have some beautiful pictures to work with and A Christmas Carol is a perfect kit to go with those Pictures!

I forget every time to make some family shots at the Christmas parties, but Disney in Christmas style also fits this kit properly! I made this LO before I went with New Years Eve and the pictures are already 2 years old. So the quality isn't that well. But now I have new one's from the same event I can make a redo when I got a bit more time. The template for this LO I made myself. You can find it in this post.

And for everyone who needs some more hours in a day (and more days in a week!) Patty was very generous! She made a pack with backgrounds and clusters! Just add your pictures and your LO is finished!

Tomorrow it will be the last Spotlight. If you went to Patty's store already (of read some blog entries below) you know I'm going to turn the spotlight on "Light up the Sky"! See you Tomorrow!

Spotlight on "A Mermaids Adventure"!

What a crazy times these days! pff I would be happy is everything is turning to normal again. Examinations are just around the corner and I'm so busy with telling my New Years Adventure to everyone! For everyone who understands dutch: I'm writing a whole Trip Report with every detail of it on DLRPfans.be. You can find it there in the section of the TR's of 2011 and it's titles: DLRP 30/12 - 2/01: A Magical New Year!

But now I'm turning a spotlight on Patty's kits! I first want to start with "A Mermaids Adventure" because it's my favourite till now! This kit has so much potential! It's so great to use it in Lay Out's with your favourite Mermaid. You just need to look at the kit, and I know you'll fall in love with it:

Doesn't it look cute and awesome? But wait till you see my LO's with it.

If you look closely on my LO's, you'll see that I also used Patty's Sand Alpha. This awesome Alpha is also available in her store. And you can buy the kit and the alpha as a bundle! How cool is that! you'll get 2 products and save some money (to buy even more great products)

And because a lot of people are like me. Just wanting to do a lot and don't have the time for everything, Patty created some help for us! Today she released 2 great packages with premade clusters/backgrounds. One of the packages is with A Mermaids Adventure, the other with A Christmas Carol (which I will Highlight tomorrow!)

And to make the Mermaid fun even bigger, you should hop over to Sarah's Blog. She also has some awesome stackings to share to make scrapping a bit easier for you!
See you tomorrow for my spotlight on "A Christmas Carol!"
